North America stainless steel consumption rises by 7pct YoY

According to statistics released by the Specialty Steel Industry of North America, North America’s stainless steel consumption totaled 201,672 short tonnes in February rising by 7% YoY.

In February, the consumption of stainless steel sheet and strip totaled 133,652 tonnes up by 0.8%
